Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using FretWork. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. The Service

FretWork ("we," "us," "the Service") is a software-as-a-service platform for instrument repair shop management. We provide tools for ticket management, customer communication, invoicing, and reporting.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use FretWork only for lawful purposes in connection with operating an instrument repair business. You may not use the Service to violate any laws, infringe on others' rights, or interfere with the Service's operation.

4. Billing and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly. Your first charge occurs after your 30-day free trial ends. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Pricing is based on the number of instruments serviced per month. If you exceed your plan's instrument limit, overage charges of $0.55 per additional instrument apply.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into FretWork — customer records, tickets, service history, and related information. We do not sell your data to third parties. We process your data solely to provide the Service.

If you cancel your account, your data remains available for 30 days before permanent deletion. You can export your data at any time via the Reports section.

6. Payment Processing

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you connect your Stripe account, payments from your customers flow directly to your account. FretWork does not hold or process funds on your behalf. Stripe's terms of service apply to all payment transactions.

7. Uptime and Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We are not liable for any damages resulting from downtime or service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

FretWork is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email when significant changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
